Serene Counseling and Consulting LLC is a therapy private practice looking to improve the mental health and wellbeing of our clients. We specialize in maternal mental health, pregnancy mood disorders, postpartum depression and anxiety. We also enjoy working with women of any stage in life, because we all know life throws us many challenges and changes.
We are an online therapy practice, meaning you can have your session in the comfort of your own home, office or even car. Some clients enjoy walking and talking, or even need to squeeze in an appointment while driving, we understand life is busy and try to accomodate.
The goal of our practice is to provide you a safe, judgement free place where you can work through challenges in your life. We look forward to hearing your story and finding ways to help you create and reach your goals.
Meaghan Sherman, MEd, LMHC
Meaghan is a licensed Rhode Island and Massachusetts therapist. She has worked in community mental health and substance abuse programs where she provided psychotherapy for individuals and families and ran therapy groups. Meaghan specializes in pregnancy and postpartum mood disorders and enjoys working with women, new moms experiencing a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, self esteem and personal growth, difficulty with life transitions, stress, new parenting issues, and decision making.
Meaghan lives in New England with her children, husband and chocolate lab named Bosco.
Meaghan has also been featured on multiple webinars for Maven Clinic, NYC and also has contributed to articles and social media content on the topics of maternal mental health.
